What did Lemuria look like?
It was one of the first questions I asked when I began exploring Lemuria. I wanted a picture.
Was Lemuria lush and green? Were there crystal temples? Did people live in harmony with nature? Like many people discovering Lemuria for the first time, I wanted to know what this mysterious civilization actually looked like.
If you’re asking the same question, you’re not alone.
Looking back, I realised I wasn’t only searching for a place. I just didn’t know yet that what I was really searching for was a feeling of home.
How Is Lemuria Commonly Described?
Because Lemuria is remembered through different spiritual traditions rather than established historical records, there isn’t a single agreed-upon description of what it looked like.
Across many books and personal accounts, however, several themes appear again and again. Lemuria is often described as a lush civilization surrounded by nature, where people lived in harmony with the Earth and one another. Crystal healing temples, sacred waters, whales and dolphins, and a deep sense of peace frequently appear in these accounts. Many also describe Lemuria as a civilization where spirituality was woven naturally into everyday life.
These descriptions gave me somewhere to begin. They gave my imagination a place to land.
But after a while, I realised something.
No matter how many descriptions I read, they never fully answered the question I was really asking. Reading about Lemuria wasn’t the same as experiencing it.
When My Answer Began to Change
Instead of collecting more information, I slowly began collecting experiences.
During meditation, I began seeing flashes of blue light. Those experiences eventually unfolded into what I experienced as the Pleiadian Star Mothers.
Later came one of the experiences that changed everything for me.
I found myself lying on what felt like a crystal healing bed inside a vast crystal sanctuary filled with soft pastel crystals. It wasn’t simply an image from a book. It felt deeply real, and that experience later became one of the foundations of my Lemurian healing work.
Around the same time, life itself became strangely synchronistic.
I was invited onto podcasts where different hosts independently shared that they resonated as Lemurian Starseeds. One even described remembering us weaving dresses together in another lifetime.
Then came the whales.
The dolphins.
Looking back now, I don’t see these as isolated spiritual experiences. I see them as moments that gradually changed my relationship with the question itself.
For the first time, Lemuria stopped being something I was trying to imagine. It became something I was beginning to remember.
So… What Did Lemuria Look Like?
Years ago, I would probably have answered this question with scenery.
Crystal temples.
Beautiful oceans.
Nature.
Soft light.
And perhaps those descriptions are true. Many people genuinely experience Lemuria visually, and I deeply respect those experiences.
But today, my answer is different.
If someone asked me what Lemuria looked like, my first response wouldn’t be about architecture or landscapes.
I would simply say:
It looked like home.
Not home as a location.
Home as a feeling.
Peace.
Belonging.
Safety.
Love.
Unity.
Sometimes I still receive images. More often, I experience Lemuria as a quiet knowing—a frequency that is difficult to describe but instantly recognisable when it is felt.
Home Was the Answer I Was Really Searching For
This was the part I never expected.
For years, I thought remembering Lemuria meant remembering somewhere else. Somewhere I wanted to return to.
Today, I see it differently.
Remembering Lemuria hasn’t made me want to leave Earth. It has helped me feel more at home here.
One of the themes many people share on the Starseed journey is the feeling of not belonging.
I understand that feeling.
For a long time, I thought the answer was to find my way back. Instead, my journey gently taught me something else.
Home isn’t waiting somewhere beyond this world. Home is a frequency we can remember within ourselves.
When I reconnect with that feeling of peace, love, trust, and unity, I don’t feel separate from Earth anymore.
I remember that I chose to be here, too.
Perhaps that’s what Lemuria has always represented to me.
Not an escape from this world.
But a reminder of how we are capable of living within it.
Your Experience Doesn’t Need to Look Like Mine
One of the greatest lessons my journey has taught me is that no two people experience Lemuria in exactly the same way.
Some people receive vivid visions.
Some remember emotions.
Some simply feel an overwhelming sense of familiarity they cannot explain.
I don’t believe my experience needs to become yours. In fact, I hope it doesn’t.
The beauty of remembrance is that it unfolds uniquely for each of us.
Sometimes it comes through images.
Sometimes through feelings.
Sometimes through an unexpected sense of coming home.
All of those experiences are valid.
Begin Your Own Remembering
If you’d like to explore the Lemurian frequency for yourself, I’ve created a free guided meditation called Remembering Lemuria.
Rather than telling you what you should see, the meditation gently invites you to notice what naturally arises. You’ll be guided to pay attention to what you see, hear, and feel before meeting your Lemurian soul family and receiving your own guidance.
Your experience may look completely different from mine. And that’s exactly how it should be.
Because perhaps the question isn’t only:
“What did Lemuria look like?”
Perhaps the deeper question is:
“What does home feel like?”
Sometimes, remembering begins here
