Recently, a phrase came to me out of nowhere:
Remember why you started.
The timing felt significant. It’s been 10 years since I first started my business in Aug 2016—ten years of creating, coaching, healing, teaching, changing directions, starting again, discovering new parts of myself, questioning everything, and somehow continuing.
So naturally, I asked myself:
Why did I start?
The first answer was surprisingly simple.
I started because I found something I loved. I still remember walking away from the first group coaching session I led and felt something I couldn’t quite name at the time. I felt full, content, satisfied, and fulfilled. Something inside me immediately knew:
I want more of this.
I had found something I loved, and I wanted to get paid for doing what I loved. I also wanted to help other people discover what they loved.
That was true.
But ten years later, I realized something else:
I am allowed to have a new why.
I am no longer the woman who started this business ten years ago, and the work I do today isn’t exactly the work I was doing then.
So perhaps the question isn’t only: Why did I start?
Perhaps it is also:
Why am I here now?
And that question brought me back to something I learned years ago: the Starseed double mission.
What Is the Starseed Double Mission?
The idea of a Starseed double mission describes two aspects of our purpose on Earth: an individual mission and a collective mission.
The individual mission is our own journey of remembering, healing, awakening, activating, expressing, experiencing, and becoming.
The collective mission is how our presence and expression contribute to something larger than ourselves—the awakening and evolution of the collective.
At first, it can be useful to think about these as two separate missions. There is my journey, and then there is what I came here to contribute to the world.
But where does my individual mission end and my collective mission begin?
If my own awakening changes how I live, create, love, lead, receive, speak, and interact with the world, hasn’t the collective already been affected?
And if we truly believe in oneness, were there ever two missions to begin with?
The Individual Mission: Remembering Who You Are
When we talk about an individual Starseed mission, healing is often one of the first things that comes to mind.
Healing matters. But I don’t believe we came here only to heal.
We also came here to remember, awaken and activate—to remember who we are, why we are here, and what we are here to express.
My own path began with remembering that I was a Starseed. From there came my remembrance of Lemuria, the awakening of my own soul gifts, Light Language, healing arts, and eventually the Lemurian Priestess.
Before I could leave traces of Lemuria for anyone else, Lemuria had to awaken within me. Before I could invite someone else to remember, I had to remember.
Your Individual Mission Does Not Require Self-Sacrifice
But remembering why we are here does not mean abandoning the experience of being human.
This feels particularly important for the priestess, because spiritual devotion is often entangled with sacrifice—the belief that being of service means requiring less for ourselves, whether through overworking and burning ourselves out for the mission or through poverty, obedience, and even chastity vows.
I no longer believe devotion to God or service to humanity requires me to sacrifice myself.
My individual mission includes my humanness. It includes desire, money, pleasure, rest, receiving, and wealth. I desire enormous wealth because I want to experience what enormous wealth makes possible in my human life.
I want to provide for myself beautifully. I want to be able to bring my mother to the best healthcare available without money restricting our choices. I want to adopt a dolphin because I want to adopt a dolphin.
I am allowed to receive because I am also part of the whole.
The Collective Mission: Leaving Traces of Lemuria
Less than twenty-four hours after questioning whether I wanted to continue publicly sharing the Lemurian Priestess work, something happened.
Someone from Argentina left a comment on one of my YouTube videos.
The interesting thing is…she doesn’t even speak English.
She wrote her comment in Spanish, which translated into something like:
“Hi! Thank you so much! My name is XYZ and I’m from Argentina. I came to this channel from Pinterest because of an image of Lemuria that caught my eye. Thank you so much for sharing! I’m really interested in what I read on your website about Lemurian priestesses, but I don’t speak English, so I’m not sure if I could do it.”
Something about that touched me deeply.
Not because she was going to sign up. She might or might not. That was not the point.
What touched me was how the traces of my work had traveled—from an image, through different platforms, until something resonated deeply enough for her to leave me a comment despite not understanding English.
And suddenly I could see it:
The traces of Lemuria.
Perhaps this is part of why I am here: to leave traces and plant seeds of Lemuria that may awaken something in another person.
When I speak about awakening Lemurian DNA, codes, or remembrance, I ultimately mean something very simple: remembering who you are, why you are here, and what you are here to share or express.
That remembrance might come through Light Language, whales and dolphin consciousness, the Blue Rose, or simply a deep feeling of coming home.
Once I’ve done my part of sharing my work,
What happens between others and God is not my business.
And perhaps understanding that is also what allows me to participate in a collective mission without carrying the collective burden.
Collective Mission Without Collective Burden
Your collective mission does not mean taking responsibility for the collective.
Spiritual service can sometimes become:
Humanity needs me, therefore I must save the world.
But you don’t have to carry the weight of the world.
You don’t have to force another person to awaken. You don’t have to figure everything out by yourself. You have your part. Another person has theirs. And God has God’s.
This is where embodied leadership becomes important.
Leadership isn’t always standing in front of people telling them where to go. Sometimes it is becoming an embodied expression of the consciousness you believe is possible—living it, choosing it, and allowing that embodiment itself to contribute to the collective.
And that includes how you receive, not only how you serve.
When the Individual and Collective Missions Become One
This is where the distinction between the two missions begins to dissolve.
If you and me are one, how can giving to you be completely separate from giving to me?
If something I share helps you remember Lemuria, and that remembrance helps you remember who you are, why you are here, and what you are here to share or express, whatever you bring into the world from that remembrance becomes part of the world we both live in.
And the same is true in reverse. What you awaken, heal, receive, and embody within yourself affects how you participate in the whole.
This is oneness.
And this is at the heart of Lemurian consciousness.
Perhaps the Starseed double mission gives us two useful ways of understanding why we are here: to remember who we are, and to allow what we remember to move through us into the world.
You don’t have to save the world.
You only have to remember your part.
