If you had told me years ago that I would one day be teaching light language, I probably would have laughed.
Not because I was against it. I simply couldn’t have imagined it.
At the time, I had just left my corporate career and was deep in my own healing and spiritual journey — exploring different modalities, learning from mentors, trying to understand myself on a deeper level.
Light language wasn’t even on my radar.
I knew it existed. I’d heard people talk about it. But I had never attended a light language session, never received an activation, and certainly never imagined myself speaking it.
And yet, that’s exactly what happened.
The Writing Workshop That Changed Everything
My light language journey began in 2016 — ironically, during a writing workshop.
Not a light language workshop. Not a channeling workshop. A writing workshop.
I was working with a mentor, and through a series of unexpected circumstances, I ended up being the only participant there that day. Halfway through, she suddenly looked at me and said:
“I think your light language is going to come through.”
My immediate response? “No, I don’t think so.”
I had only recently left the corporate world. My life was changing quickly, but light language still felt very far outside my reality. I didn’t have the background, the training, or the experience. From my perspective, I definitely wasn’t someone who spoke light language.
But there was also a quieter voice inside me that simply said: Trust.
Saying Yes Without Knowing Why
Even though I didn’t understand what was happening, something in me knew to listen. So I surrendered — reluctantly — and basically told my mentor: “Okay. Do whatever you need to do.”
She guided me through a process that included vocal toning and call-and-response exercises.
At the time, I had no idea why we were doing any of it.
And somewhere within that process, something opened. Something remembered. Something that had always been there suddenly had permission to come forward.
Looking back, it’s funny to realize that the very techniques that helped activate my light language that day are the same foundational techniques I now teach inside my Light Language Activation Course.
It Didn’t Feel Like Learning Something New
One of the reasons I rarely describe light language as something you learn is because that wasn’t my experience. I didn’t feel like I was acquiring a new skill. I felt like I was remembering something.
That distinction matters.
When people think about activating light language, they often assume there’s a complicated process to master — more training, more certifications, more spiritual development, more proof that they’re ready.
My experience was almost the opposite. The activation happened when I stopped trying to figure everything out and allowed myself to trust. It wasn’t about becoming someone new. It was about allowing a part of myself that was already there to emerge.
How Light Language Helped Me Heal
After my activation, I didn’t immediately start teaching or building a business around it. I used it for myself.
At the time, I was doing a lot of emotional healing work — working through old patterns, opening my heart, learning how to feel emotions I had spent years avoiding. Whenever anger, frustration, sadness, or emotional intensity surfaced, I would allow myself to feel it, then use light language as part of the process.
It became a tool for emotional regulation, energetic clearing, and reconnecting with myself. The more I worked with it, the more I began to trust it.
What Changed the Most
People often ask what the biggest benefit of activating light language was.
It wasn’t the ability to channel. It wasn’t the spiritual experiences or the connection with guides.
The biggest shift was trust.
Channeling requires trust. You cannot channel while trying to control every outcome, while demanding certainty, while constantly asking whether you’re doing it correctly. At some point, you have to surrender — again and again.
And that lesson didn’t just stay inside my light language practice. It began to ripple into every area of my life. The more I trusted the process while channeling, the more I learned to trust life itself.
You Don’t Need My Story To Be Your Story
Your activation may look completely different from mine.
Some people awaken through exposure to light language transmissions. Some through meditation, automatic writing, healing sessions, or spontaneous experiences they never saw coming. There is no single correct path.
The purpose of sharing my story isn’t to tell you how your journey should unfold. It’s simply to remind you that awakening often arrives in unexpected ways — and sometimes the doorway looks nothing like what we imagined.
After all, I went to a writing workshop and came home speaking light language. I never would have believed that was possible beforehand.
Yet here we are.
Is Your Light Language Already Within You?
Looking back, I don’t believe my mentor gave me light language. I believe she created a safe space for me to remember it. That’s a very different thing.
If light language is a soul remembrance journey, then the question isn’t whether it exists within you. The question is whether you’re willing to explore it — whether you’re willing to trust what emerges, and to say yes to the possibility that there is more wisdom, intuition, and expression already inside you than you’ve been taught to believe.
Sometimes that single yes is where everything begins.
